Anyone who knows me, knows that I would never willingly trade in my organic African Black Soap for anyone or anything. But after all of the raving reviews from people who said that Max Beauty's Papaya Facial Bar was like no other, I decided to give it a try.

Look and Feel: When you first open up the Papaya facial bar from it's packaging it looks like a regular bar of soap with small specs and grains, but as you use the soap the organic beads inside are exposed. I love the feel of it against my hands and skin, which also is great for exfoliation. 5/5
Lather ability: Creates a great lather, it foams up without being too aggressive on the skin. 5/5
Rinse ability: Does not leave a film on skin when you rinse it. Skin feels soft,moisturized yet, squeaky clean. 5/5
Durability: I love a soap that stays firm. It doesn't mush over as you use it. 5/5
Does as Advertised: Well, my hyper pigmentation hasn't went away at all and I never really had much acne or scars on my face. It's only been a month, so, maybe that comes with time and consistency. However, my face did experience a sun kissed radiance---- like a "girl have you been basking in the sun" type of inner glow.3/5

Overall Review: This facial cleanser is amazing! It removes all of my makeup at night, yet leaves my skin so soft instead of dry and tight. It's very soothing, hydrating and doesn't disrupt the PH of my skin, so no, I haven't experienced any sensitivity or acne while using this product. And the smell is very pleasant. Now thats definitely worth all of my $10.
